2015!?

How is it already 2015? MAN. I think back to where I was this time last year and where I am now. Well.. That escalated quickly. But really, I am amazed at how we think we have a plan for our lives and The Lord says I have a better, more perfect one. I am grateful for personal revelation and the blessing that it is.

This week we chapped loads! So many funny moments I'll just share two favorites :)

1. After knocking we see a man walk into the front hall with what looks like a skirt on. Sister Crawley and I are making guesses and think it's a kilt. He walks away to go get his key to unlock the door and we are so sure, yes, definitely a kilt. Said man opens the door and he turns out to be...

a super attractive young adult in solely a bathrobe.

And I froze.

Because I am already awkward and it's only been 2.5 months. Don't worry though, I did pull myself together and we actually had a really great conversation about the gospel. Awe yeah.

2. We took Nathan Reid out knocking doors with us. (He's allowed to, we are just not allowed to enter any homes with a single man). Sister Crawley and I did a door each and told Nathan it was his turn. He didn't want to but I had already rang the doorbell. A stone face man answered the door and stared. So Sister Crawley and I stayed silent

And so did Nathan.

....

We all just stood there for a solid 10 seconds.

Sister Crawley starts laughing so I stepped up and did the door approach. He was definitely not interested but we almost fell over laughing afterwards.

On New Years Eve we had to be in our flat by 6pm. We ordered pizza, drank Schloer (sparkling juice) and just hung out, swaaaaag. And New Years Day we watched movies alllll day. It was fantastic.
Back to work now though. We have loads to do in the Lisburn area and I'm confident that Sister Crawley and I can bring much success.
We did find a new investigator this week, Chris, while chapping and had a lesson with him on Friday. We will meet with him again this week, we have high hopes for him and know the gospel will bless him.

Today we are going to the Titanic Museum in Belfast, it's supposed to be super cool!

Good Luck everyone going back to school, work and real life. Make this year a great one! You are stars!
